Deep groove ball bearings are a type of radial ball bearing, which is the most extensively used bearing due to its versatility. Deep groove ball bearings are used to transfer weight from rotations of the parts to housings with lowest friction losses. Deep groove ball bearings support axial and radial loads in both directions and are suitable for the highest speeds. One of the main advantage over angular contact ball bearings is that they can take the axial load in both directions.
